The Strengths of Participatory Reflections and Action(PRA)
Participatory Reflections and Action Project uncovers the role of independent church leaders in aggravating poor adherence to TB/HIV treatment among indigent rural patients of Kibalinga and Nabingoola sub counties of Mubende District. Local ‘pastors’ are discouraging TB/HIV patients to seek medical treatment.They are stopping those on ARVs and TB doses to stop taking them claiming that God and Jesus will miraculously heal the them.Death have been reported .This has been discovered during the on going project briefly described here below;
